I am a photographer and image specialist, holding a degree from the National School for Photography (ENSP) in Arles, France, and a Master’s in Contemporary History from Nantes University, where I focused on Chinese studies through the relationship between history and photography as a source.
My professional practice includes commissioned photography for architectural, lifestyle, industry and travel projects, as well as documentary assignments exploring the connections between history, geography, landscapes, and archives. I also specialize in high-standard/museal reproduction photography for institutional archives and enterprises, and I have extensive experience in photographic retouching for cultural heritage collections and institutions.
Alongside my photographic practice, I have worked for the past 15 years as a picture editor, both in commercial image agencies (curation, art direction, rights management, legal and quality control, consulting, and stock photography) and within institutional and cultural contexts. (Portfolio available on request.)
My clients include : Orient Express, Fonds de Dotation Orient Express, Kulturstiftung der Länder, Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Unter den Linden - SPK), Ostkreuz Verein für Fotografie, Collection Regard, Festival International de Piano de la Roque d'Anthéron, Hugo Lucques architect, GettyImages-iStockphoto, EyeEm, Photocase ...
My artistic work revolves around themes of memory, remembrance, traces, history, literature, narrative, and music.
I also write texts about photography and history as well as poems and songs.
In the journal section, you will find my day-to-day photos, texts, music and sound impressions.
I am based in Berlin and available for assignment in Europe.
